Market Update December 2009
16th December 2009
This year has been a very very difficult one, in fact without question the hardest since we opened back in 1979.
As you realize, this is not just a “Crumlin problem”, but throughout the Country and further afield. The two main reasons for this are (a) Banks who are tightening up on their lending policy and (b) job security. Plenty of people want to move and need to move for various reasons but they want to wait and see if their jobs are secure before making any decisions.
Thankfully we have noticed a bit more activity in recent weeks especially on our normanmorrow.co.uk web site. As a result we are starting to arrange more viewings, especially for the cheaper properties. Hopefully this trend will continue into 2010 as viewings lead to sales and sales keep the door open and the Bank Manager happy.
May we take this opportunity to wish you all a Happy Christmas and Prosperous New year.
